The Gunners are set to fly out to the French capital where they open their European campaign with their toughest of their group matches.
Laurent Koscielny is training with his Arsenal team-mates as they prepare for theirChampions League opener at Paris Saint-Germain .
Defender Rob Holding is on standby to face the Ligue 1 champions on Tuesday if Koscielny does not recover in time.
Gunners boss Wenger said: “He will be a little bit of a concern. The eye is already very swollen and it is closed up.”
Wenger has also admitted that he has a decision to make over new signings Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi.
He claims that the pair were slightly overwhelmed by the pace of the Premier League on their debut on Saturday and he will consider whether it is right to play them again so soon.
“I have to decide that [if the new signings will be involved against PSG],” he said on Sunday.
“We will see how everyone is tomorrow morning. For Tuesday, we might just have Gibbs coming back, who was not in the squad today. It’s possible they are in the squad.”
Arsenal face PSG on Tuesday night with a 7:45pm kick-off.
