Chelsea legend Didier Drogba made the surprising announcement that he is used to be Arsenal fan and his support for them inspired him whenever he played against Arsenal.
The Ivorian international is now in MLS playing with Montreal impact and proving his worth with scoring 11 goals for them in just 13 appearances.
Drogba has incredible record against the Gunners, scored 15 times against them.
Didier Drogba always felt he had to impress against his idol like Thierry Henry, he told Sky Sports.
‘As a young kid growing up in France, the team that everyone was supporting was Arsenal because of Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Sylvain Wiltord and Arsene Wenger as well,’ he said.
‘They were showing a lot of Arsenal games and I was a fan, at that time, of the team.
