Arsene Wenger hinted about signing 2-3 players in the January transfer window as the Frenchman admits the Gunners squad is short in many positions.

Its seems like Arsenal have clinched thier first signing of January transfer window as FC Basel’s official twitter account gives a massive update on the player.

The Swedish champions have signed Swedish Midfielder, Alexander Fransson from IFK Norrköping for the replacement of El-Nenny. On top of that thier twitter account also confirms..

Mohamed El-Nenny is set to sign for Arsenal for a fee in the region of £7.4 million on a four-and-a-half year contract from Swiss side FC Basel. He’s a 23 year old central midfield player who can be utilized as a deep lying midfielder as well as a box-to-box player.
